Figures & Encounters

Many of Fedorin's strongest works depict encounters: a girl between wild cats, a child beside a wolf, a sleeping face in close-up. These are not narratives in the ordinary sense. They are thresholds — moments in which the boundary between the human and the animal, the waking and the dreaming, briefly dissolves.
